READ ME Listing rules: read before you post

Gear: Buy / Sell / Trade rules

Same idea as markers: show the item, show you, and state the condition and price. These sit on top of the general Marketplace rules. Selling, trading, and wanted posts all go in this one forum. Use the filter buttons above the list to see just one kind.

Your title
Pick the tag from the dropdown, then write item - price:

Tags: WTS to sell, WTT to trade, WTB wanted. The tag is added to the front in [brackets] automatically, so only type the item and the price. For a lot, give the lot price or say "each". If you drop the price later, update the title. The condition goes in the post. It's welcome in the title too, but not needed.

Every WTS and WTT listing needs

1. A verification photo. At least one photo of the item (or all the items, for a lot or gearbag) next to a piece of paper (or a screen) showing your PBWire username and the date and time you're posting. It has to be a fresh photo taken for this listing. No stock images, and no photos from old listings or other sites.
   
2. More photos. Every item from a couple of angles, plus close-ups of any flaws (lenses and straps on masks, for example).
   
3. The condition, in the post. Say which it is: New, Like new, Lightly used, Used (player's gear), or For parts. Then brand, model, size, color, and anything that's included.
   
4. The price, in the title and the post. No "PM for price". For a lot, give a price for each item or one price for the lot. Say whether it includes shipping.
   
5. Where it ships from and to. You're responsible for following local shipping and import rules.

Looking for something? Use [WTB]

• Say exactly what you want (brand, model, size, color, the condition you'd accept), where you are, and your budget if you like. No verification photo is needed.
  
• Sellers: send a PM or post a link to your listing. Keep prices and haggling in PMs. If you have it, list it as a WTS and link it.
  
• Found it? Change your tag to FOUND so people stop messaging you. Don't delete the thread.
  

Tanks and air systems
Show the hydro date and the regulator's condition. Never ship a tank with air in it.

Payment
PayPal Goods & Services is the default. Anything else only if you both agree in the thread.

Good manners

• Questions about the item are welcome in the thread. Offers and haggling go in PMs.
  
• One thread per item or lot. Price drops go in your first post and title (edit them), not a new thread.
  
• Bump once every 24 hours at most.
  
• Holds are your call, but keep them reasonable (about 48 hours unless you've agreed otherwise).
  
• Please don't judge or comment on someone's price in their thread. Ask in Price Check instead.
  
• Mark it SOLD within a day of the sale. Don't delete the thread, because it's part of your record.
  

If your listing is missing something
A moderator will leave a friendly note and give you a day to fix it. If it's still missing, the thread gets locked until it's sorted. No drama.

Red flags: report them
Anyone who asks you to pay or ship outside the thread's terms, send gift cards or crypto, or move to another site is a red flag. Use Report or post in Trader Feedback & Scam Reports.
